Q. How can I set up an account or obtain login details for HSS LiveHire?
A. If you wish to use HSS LiveHire please complete the registration form at http://www.hss-live-hire.com/ or call the HSS LiveHire Team on 0845 604 3312 (or email livehire@hss.com).
Q. I can't see any prices when I select an item?
A.You are either not logged in or you do not have the required permissions set against your profile. Please call the HSS LiveHire Team on 0845 604 3312 for assistance.

A. Call 0845 604 3312 and the HSS LiveHire Team will make the necessary changes for you.
Q. I need this equipment to be delivered (need to be able to pick it up) today, but I don't seem to be able to do so.
A. Please call the HSS LiveHire Team on 0845 604 3312 who will assist you in completing your order.
Q. When can I pick up and drop off items at HSS Hire over the weekend?
A. HSS Hire branches are generally open between 8am - 1pm on Saturdays and most are closed all day on Sundays. However, some branches have slightly different opening hours and we recommend, if you intend to pick up or drop off at the weekend, you contact the relevant branch to confirm their opening hours. Our Heathrow branch is open 24/7.
Q. I don't see a price displayed in my basket, instead it says is POA.
A. You have selected an item from within our HSS OneCall range, which are items that are not part of our core range. Once you have placed your order, one of our expert HSS OneCall advisors will contact you to confirm the order, prices etc.
Q. My HSS LiveHire Account seems to be running slower than usual. What could be the problem?
A. If you are downloading a large amount of data from your HSS LiveHire account, it could simply be that your internet connection is struggling with the volume. However, we can also look into it to check there are no other issues. Please contact the HSS LiveHire Team on 0845 406 3312.
Q. During what times can the HSS LiveHire Team be contacted?
A. For technical assistance, the HSS LiveHire Team is available Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm. For assistance placing orders or off-hiring, we offer a 24 hour service.
Q. What if I have a query on an invoice?
A. If you have a query in relation to any charges on an invoice, please contact your Credit Controller (whose telephone number is shown on your monthly statement or HSS LiveHire invoice). Alternatively, please email: QueryTeam@HSS.com quoting your account number, invoice number and the detail of the query.
Q. I have changed office location and need to amend my details on HSS LiveHire.
A. Please call the HSS LiveHire Team on 0845 604 3312 who will make the necessary changes for you.
Q. I am trying to add chisels/points to my basket, but I cannot seem to find them on HSS LiveHire.
A. At present, chisels/points are not listed as available products on HSS LiveHire due to the complex nature of how wear charges are calculated. Wear charges will be added to your contract at the end of the hire, the charge calculated dependent on use. If you would like to discuss this further, please call HSS Hire on 08456 110011.
Q. I would like to cancel a pre-booked collection via HSS LiveHire but I can't find anywhere to action this?
A. Please call HSS Hire on 08456 110011 and we will action your request.
Q. How do I get a proof of delivery / proof of collection?
A. Step1: Log into HSS LiveHire and click Hire Diary. Step 2: Select required calendar date to view. Step 3: View ETA's or click on the link to view the contract. Step 4: From contract, click 'View proof of delivery/collection'. Step 5: The required document will be displayed
Q. I am having problems viewing invoices or credit notes via Google Chrome, what can I do?
A. Step 1 Open Chrome and in address Bar type “about:plugins”. Step 2 Now Enable “Adobe Acrobat”, and this will automatically disable the inbuilt viewer. Step 3 Once done, please re start chrome and click on Invoice pdf.
