We make every effort to ensure only a positive contribution in these areas and continue to invest in our corporate and social responsibilities
Health and Safety
At HSS Hire, we’re serious about safety – of our colleagues, our customers and our products. We are Safe-HIRE and ISO9000 certified and are currently the only tool and equipment hire company to have been awarded four stars from the British Safety Council.
HSS operate a training company to make sure that our colleagues and our customers are equipped with the knowledge to keep them safe whilst using our equipment.
And we work closely with both the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA) and the government's Health & Safety Executive to promote safety in the hire industry.
Quality
Our commitment to safety is backed up by an equal commitment to quality. We think the two go hand in hand. We’re ISO9000 certified and our quality management system establishes and reviews a comprehensive set of quality objectives.
Environment
At HSS, we think the world is a beautiful place and we’re determined to do our bit to help keep it that way. So we commit staff and resources to meeting or exceeding environmental legislation and particularly to reducing polluting releases and the unnecessary consumption of natural resources. We are also ISO14001 certified.
